Alright, let's talk about this week's live.
Thursday night's stream was one of those ones where we just got into it — no fluff, no filler, just raw, honest conversation about what's actually working on Amazon right now. The community showed up, the questions were fire, and we covered ground that I reckon could save some of you a LOT of money and headaches.
Here's the rundown.
The Big Takeaway: Stop Chasing Easy, Start Building Smart
The theme of the night was pretty clear — easy doesn't equal best. Someone asked about starting with online arbitrage, and I had to keep it real: OA is one of the simplest ways to get going on Amazon, but if your goal is to leave the 9-to-5 and build something that actually replaces your income, it's not the path that'll get you there. Wholesale is harder at the front end, absolutely. Finding suppliers, building relationships, putting yourself out there — it takes graft. But once you've cracked it, you've got a repeatable, scalable business. Not a hustle. A business.
That's the difference nobody talks about. Everyone wants the easy entry point, but the easy entry point has a low ceiling. If you're serious about going full-time, you need to be thinking about models that scale from day one.
Highlight Reel
The saturation myth got debunked. Amazon is packed with sellers — but most of them don't know what they're doing. That's not competition, that's noise. If you learn the game properly, the opportunity is massive.
The Amex supplier hack. I shared how I asked my supplier to let me pay via Amex through PayPal (I cover the processing fee) — and now I get points on every order plus nearly 60 days of cash flow float. One conversation. That's all it took.
The two hurdles of wholesale. First: learning to find profitable products (keepa graphs, data, criteria). Second: finding the supplier. The second one is infinitely harder — but it's also where the real competitive edge lives.
Your One Action This Week
Look at your current Amazon model — or the one you're planning to start with. Ask yourself honestly: does this model have a high enough ceiling to get me where I want to go? If the answer is no, it's time to start learning about wholesale. The info is all out there. Whether you teach yourself or get a mentor, the only wrong move is standing still.
See you on the next live.
Let's go. 🚀
